The StormQuant team returned to the Collier County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) this week to install a second state-of-the-art 3-D Weather Viewer workstation. This allows the County to make StormQuant’s proprietary technology the focal point for real-time weather visualization.

During a recent demonstration, the Collier County emergency management team was introduced to StormQuant’s advanced capabilities, including true directional wind velocity mapping, horizontal and vertical slicing of weather at any altitude, and user-defined alerts.  These real-time insights empower emergency responders to make faster, more informed decisions when severe weather or wildfires threaten public safety.

“We are super impressed with the resources” said Dan Summers, Director for the Collier County Bureau of Emergency Services. He told StormQuant that they look forward to greater use of the system in their EOC.

Florida’s Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) teamed up with StormQuant to make this installation possible. Florida is a leader when it comes to embracing next-generation weather monitoring technology.  This innovative technology is set to play a pivotal role in safeguarding Florida communities by providing real-time, high-resolution data to emergency management teams, meteorologists, and first responders.

Just as the iPhone revolutionized the mobile communication industry, the StormQuant platform is poised to dominate the world of weather.
