Engaging Industry-Leading Expertise
StormQuant recently welcomed Dan Summers as its new EOC Liaison. He brings more than 40 years of experience serving coastal Florida and hurricane-prone communities. He has served as adjunct faculty at FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute, contributing both as an instructor and curriculum designer, and is a graduate of FEMA’s Executive Leadership Program.

Dan previously served as Director of the Bureau of Emergency Services for Collier County, where he led Emergency Operations Center activations and coordinated disaster response and recovery efforts for 33 declared disasters across North Carolina and Florida. His leadership played a critical role during major hurricanes, including Charley, Wilma, Irma, Ian, and Michael.
“I am honored to join StormQuant and to help bring the latest in technology and early warning to federal, state and local partners,” said Mr. Summers. “Their advanced platform will help transform unprecedented visual storm information into actionable data for life-saving decision making.”
