StormQuant, a leader in weather radar innovation, has successfully deployed its most advanced compact weather radar in Naples, Florida, enhancing critical radar coverage across the region.
This strategic deployment was made possible through a partnership with the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and marks a significant step forward in storm preparedness and public safety for Southwest Florida.

The robust radar was installed atop The Enclave at Park Shore, a luxury beachfront condominium and the tallest building in Southwest Florida at 30 stories high. The tower’s unobstructed 360-degree vantage point provides an ideal location for wide-area weather scanning capabilities.

Residents of The Enclave, having personally endured the devastation of Hurricane Ian, were highly cooperative and supportive of the project, recognizing the life-saving potential of the radar system.

“It was a pleasure working with the entire StormQuant team; professionals from start to finish, well done,” said Adrienne Doane, General Manager of the Enclave of Naples Condominium Association. “Your company is impressive. I look forward to experiencing the capabilities of StormQuant radar and its futuristic technology.”
The deployment was coordinated with assistance from Dan Summers, Director of the Collier County Bureau of Emergency Services. Earlier in March, Dan’s team at the Collier County Emergency Operations Center received StormQuant’s cutting-edge 3-D Weather Viewer workstation, featuring its patented proprietary software for real-time, high-resolution storm analysis.
Unmatched Speed In Radar Delivery & Deployment
StormQuant’s revolutionary compact design is a game-changer and sets it apart from any other commercially available weather radar.
Made in the USA, the radar units are fully assembled and tested by StormQuant’s team in Titusville. Upon delivery in Naples, a precision operation utilizing a small helicopter lifted the unit to the rooftop of the Enclave where it was attached to a small tower. From unloading to transmission of data, the entire radar installation process took less than four hours.

“Our engineering team came up with an entirely new approach to radar design, delivering an incredibly complex radar – nearly 27,000 components – in a compact package weighing less than 350lbs,” said Tristan Rizzi, Capt. SEAL, USN (Ret), and President of StormQuant. “The ability to quickly deploy such a capable weather radar is unique to StormQuant.”

With the installation of the StormQuant radar, a significant weather radar coverage gap has been eliminated. It is now covered by high-resolution, real-time radar— enhancing local forecasting capabilities. Combined with the patented 3-D Weather Viewer, FDEM, Collier County, and others can now benefit from StormQuant’s fully modernized weather monitoring platform.
This deployment ensures better preparation, faster emergency response, and improved safety for the community—solidifying StormQuant’s role in advancing weather intelligence across vulnerable regions.
