StormQuant has expanded into Georgia, partnering with agencies to deliver next-generation storm analysis capabilities that strengthen preparedness and response efforts.
As part of this expansion, StormQuant recently briefed members of the Emergency Management Association of Georgia (EMAG) in Brunswick. The EMAG champions professional excellence by uniting emergency management professionals, sharing proven strategies, and fostering a collaborative community dedicated to protecting lives and property.

The session was led by Randall Mathews, Deputy Director of the Chatham Emergency Management Agency (CEMA), who oversees planning, hazard mitigation, and operational functions, including management of the Chatham County Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
“We greatly appreciate the participation of the StormQuant team,” said Mr. Mathews. “Their innovative technology and strong commitment to addressing our needs were truly impressive.”
Nearly 50 emergency preparedness professionals attended, many representing EMAG’s Area 5 region, which includes 12 coastal counties in Georgia. Also in attendance were key local partners, including the National Weather Service, county emergency services, and representatives from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. StormQuant was invited to present by the Glynn County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency (GCEM-HSA). The GCEM-HSA is currently utilizing a StormQuant Weather Viewer Workstation in their EOC.

Video & In-Person Demo Showcases Next-Gen Severe Weather Visualization
The briefing included a video showcasing how StormQuant’s advanced weather platform integrates real-time storm data with their proprietary 3D radar meshing software.
“We’ve significantly enhanced the Weather Viewer’s user interface to offer greater flexibility and ease of use,” said Tristan Rizzi, Capt. SEAL, USN (Ret.), and President of StormQuant. “With new user-defined settings, the platform delivers a more intuitive, streamlined experience. This level of customization empowers emergency managers to make faster, more informed decisions when every second counts during severe weather events.”
As part of the presentation, a 3D Weather Viewer Workstation was set up in the meeting room to give attendees a hands-on look at StormQuant’s advanced storm analysis tools. Howard Moore, Lt. Col, USAF (Ret.), StormQuant’s Chief Meteorologist, was on hand to deliver real-time demonstrations and answer questions from attendees. His expertise helped illustrate how the platform can enhance situational awareness and support critical decision-making during severe weather events.

Attendees were impressed with how StormQuant’s advanced alerting system and real-time 3D visualization work together to transform early warnings into immediate action. By combining hyperlocal data, live atmospheric cross-sections, and intuitive visualization, the platform empowers emergency managers to make faster, smarter decisions during severe weather events.
From hurricanes and flash floods to other large-scale and fast-developing weather events, StormQuant empowers emergency response leaders with the tools, real-time insights, and decision support they need to act quickly and effectively.
