Mr. Woolley is a software developer with two decades of experience building distributed and embedded systems for tech startup companies in High Performance Computing (HPC), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Personal Navigation Devices (PNDs), and Transportation and Logistics (T&L).

At deCarta, before it was acquired by Uber, Mr. Woolley created their distributed data processing system and various embedded system geospatial analysis algorithms, including a patented guidance system. While at Uber, he was engineering lead for their internal navigation software stack and was author of the turn-by-turn navigation guidance system and more system patents, such as in alternate route management.

Mr. Woolley also has a background in Linux system and website security, having published a number of zero-day security vulnerabilities, including the first reported security holes in WordPress over two decades ago.

At StormQuant, Mr. Woolley has been responsible for the embedded microcontroller software from Linux drivers and FPGA processing to motor controllers and sensor monitors, as well as the containerized services on the server side for data collection and distribution.
