Hurricane Milton impacted Florida on October 9th and 10th of 2024. We thank the first responders for their service and extend condolences to those who lost their lives and their homes. It is our sincere hope improved weather radar detection, visualization and application will lead to improved real-time storm response and post storm recovery efforts.

StormQuant conducted a live-stream on the StormQuant Youtube channel during Hurricane Milton. Two and Three-dimensional visualizations, to include horizontal and vertical cross-sections, were highlighted as the storm progressed. In addition, gridded mesh configuration allowed reflectivity from mulitple radars to be simultaneously displayed within a single geographic viewing area.
