Mr. Lawrence-Simon brings a wealth of academic research and applied experience to the StormQuant team. He has a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering – Vehicle Systems and Controls – from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Mr. Lawrence-Simon has worked in conjunction with the DoD, the DoE, and Private Enterprise on cutting-edge projects (Classified / Unclassified) across multiple disciplines, including work with AI, realtime, and data-dense software and analytics, with an emphasis on GPU programming.

After graduating with his master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Mr. Lawrence-Simon began his career as a software developer with DataFusion, programming multithreaded realtime electronic warfare algorithms. He later consulted for the DoE as the sole programmer on a battery physics simulation model and integrated it into Ansys Fluent for Electric Vehicle full system simulation.

While at StormQuant, Mr. Lawrence-Simon has overseen the sensor blending, data analytics, and overall hardware design for multiple generations of radar.
